Conference Information - Program Overview

Audience

The conference is for physicians, psychiatrists, psychoanalysts, psychologists, social workers, family therapists, counselors, nurses, family members, consumers, educators, and allied mental health professionals.

Confirmation and Refunds

Refund of tuition fee, less $30 administrative charge, will be made if written notice of cancellation is received by Lifespan Learning Institute by October 6, 2004. No refunds can be made thereafter.

Disclosure

It is the policy of the Lifespan Learning Institute and the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder to ensure fair balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all sponsored programs. All faculty participating in sponsored programs are expected to disclose to the audience any potential, apparent, or real conflict of interest related to their contribution to the activity, and any discussions of off-label or investigational uses of any commercial products or devices not yet approved in the United States. All disclosures will be made at the time of this CME activity.

Hotel Accommodations

A block of rooms has been reserved at the DoubleTree Hotel, Los Angeles-Westwood, 10740 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90024. Rooms are available at $149 per night. Overnight parking is $21 per day with unlimited in and out access. A free shuttle service is available before and after the program, to and from the conference. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the conference site. Cut off date for the special conference rate Is September 24, 2004. Reservations received after the cut off date are subject to availability and prevailing rates.

Location

The Ackerman Student Union is on the UCLA Campus.

Lunch

A cafeteria is open to attendees in the Ackerman Student Union for lunch on both days.

Parking

Parking on the UCLA campus without permit is $7 per entry. Attendants at designated gates, on the UCLA campus, via Westwood Blvd, will collect the parking fee.
